Terms of Service
These terms cover the Fewer app for iOS. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What the app does
Fewer scans the photo library on your device, groups photos and videos it believes are duplicates, near-identical copies, repeated shots of the same moment, or out of focus, and proposes which ones to keep. Every proposal is a suggestion. The app deletes nothing until you confirm on its review screen and again in the iOS prompt that follows.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing what the app proposes before confirming a deletion. Matching is done by algorithms comparing image content and metadata; it can group photos you consider different, and it can miss ones you consider the same. Deleted items go to the Photos app's Recently Deleted album for 30 days, from which you can recover them. Once you empty that album, the items are gone; the app cannot recover them and we cannot either.
Fewer Pro
Identical copies and the large-file list are free. Reviewing similar photos, re-saved copies and blurry shots requires Fewer Pro, a one-time purchase made through Apple In-App Purchase at the price shown in the app. It is not a subscription, does not renew and does not expire. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed in to it using "Restore purchase" in the app. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of photos, videos or data, or for any other loss arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Material changes to the terms will be posted at this URL with a new date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept it.
